Far-field divergence angle of laser beams is an important parameter about value of laser quality. Not only the laser divergence peculiarity in the distance is reflected, but also quality of the correlative laser apparatus and the laser transmission is exactly known. In practical application,it is an impendent need to use the far-field small divergence angle of laser beams. Therefore, to measure exactly the far-field small divergence angle of laser beams is highly important. In this paper, the theory analysis of transmission and transform of Gaussian Beams is described, and two collimation systems is reasonably designed on the basis of the qualities of He-Ne laser and LD laser. With the BeamProfiler image analysis software system, far-field divergence angle of the laser beams is calculated by CCD demarcating technique measuring spot size. The mostly contents about every chapter are as follows: In chapter 1, collimating technique and actuality of laser, the measurement ways and significance of far-field divergence angle of laser beams are prospected. In chapter 2, basic character of laser beams, far-field and near-field Gaussian Beams, definiens of spot radius and far-field divergence angle of Gaussian Beams are introduced. Transmission and Transform of Gaussian Beams are analyzed by complex parameter q and ABCD-law. In particular, the telescope system in the maladjustment is educed. In chapter 3, on the basis of the characteristic of Gaussian Beams transform by lens, it is feasible about calculating the far-field divergence angle by CCD demarcating technique measuring spot size in the theory. At the same time, CCD and BeamProfiler are simply introduced. In chapter 4, to evaluate GY-10 He-Ne laser, He-Ne laser beam is measured by measuring far-field spot size in the distance. Then, in the light of Gaussian Beams transform theory by telescope systems, He-Ne laser beam is collimated by two telescopes in the theory and the experiment is built and regulated.
