Semiconductor laser designator is widely used in small arms system because of its well-orientation, visible and intuitive, which can realize the weapon system quickly aimed at close range. Laser designator as an independent aiming system, has relatively complete technical requirements, such as:Divergence Angle of Laser Beam, operating range, light spot moving amount, optical axis adjusting range and the optical axis deviation, etc. In order to ensure the research and production of laser designator with good quality, we must accurately testing these performances of laser designator.According to the Multi-parameter testing of the laser pointer which used white light aiming lens, the paper comes up with a new quantitative detection scheme used focal spot method which based on CCD sensor and digital image technology. And then design the system specifically, realize the laser beam spread Angle, operating range, light spot moving amount, optical axis adjusting range and the optical axis deviation of the parameters quantitative detection. The practical detection results show that the system’s absolute error of testing the divergence angle is less than0.05mrad. the standard deviation of testing the operating range is0.14, the absolute error of optical axis adjusting range and the optical axis deviation quantity is less than0.05mil.
