In the past years,Video Supervise has been used extensively in every field,such as security supervise in residential areas,supervise for stations intelecommunication,supervise in banks,fire supervise in forest,supervise for peccancyand traffic and so on.With the promotion of the information-based process of ourcountry and improvement of people's living standard, the video supervise is enteringthe ordinary family,and become the important component of the intellectual housesystem. Rapid development of network technology ,technology of the video andembedded technology is a great push for the development process of. family videosupervise technology.Based on the analyses of the current situation of video supervise andcharacteristic of family supervise,this paper bring forword a solution which is madeup of embedded video server and vidicon and we can visit and control the systemwith Web. This scheme adopts 32 bit high-performance MCU S3C2410 of Samsungas top management chip , adopts μCLinux as operating system, adopts WIS G700SBchip to realize the hard compression of the video picture,and supports interface ways,such as RS232,USB and RJ45,etc.We store and transmit video in the format ofMPEG-4. MPEG-4 is very suitable for the video transmission in the network,for itadopts coding and compression technology based on object and has very low coderate in transmission and high video quality.In this solution,we develop a video server which has low cost,high capacity andefficiency and is easy to use.This server supports TCP/IP procotols and runs aspecial-purpose Web server.Users can make use of Java Applet to realize remotemonitoring and control of family's information by way of Web.In this paper,we detailed introduce the solution from its collectivitydesign,division of modules of software and hardware,to the design and coding ofsoftware modules. In charpter 5,we especially expatiate development process ofmain software modules,and provide codes.
