| Having the features of reflecting the object being monitored and controlled vividly and truly in real time, multimedia surveillance system is becoming one of the important means of modernization management, monitoring and control. This paper presents an aviable and applicable scheme of Embedded Video Serve for video surveillance system, which has the high reliability. Comparing to traditional multimedia surveillance system, this scheme has the characteristics of small volume, low cost, high stability and etc, therefore, it has good applied and development outlook.First, this thesis describes the fuction and elementary configuration for implement of the system and the scheme of collectivity, And then we systematically discusse the hardware design based on ADI DSP chip-ADSP-BF532 for video input module, video output module, external memory module and develop software design based on ADSP-BF532 to implement digital video capture, MPEG-4 standard video compression, video network transmission. At the same time, this paper has greatly enhanced the system efficiency by optimizing the program, according to the hardware characteristics and special instructions of ADSP-BF532.Finally, the experimental and testing results show that the proposed scheme of Embedded Video Serve in this paper is useful and reliable, and it can meet the demand of the actual multimedia video supervision applications completely.
