Since the photoelectric test technology comes out in the 20-century, it has been undergone for a long time development. Specially, in last ten years, the photoelectric detection system has been developed rapidly in performances, applications and effects, and made a significant contribution to solve the photoelectric detection problem in varies engineering fields. So it is necessary to carry out the research and design of a high power laser tester to meet the requirement of the defense science and technology.The goal of project is to design a laser power-tester for the macro lens laser emitter, its features are as follow: the lens of the power-test can butt on any of the emitting field of view of the laser emitter through different interfaces, all the high power laser emitted from emitting field of view to be tested enters the lens of the power tester and send to a electronic box of the power tester after being switched into electrical signal by a photoelectric converter, the electric signal is switched into an average-power value through an integrating device and a A/D converter and displayed in BCD code. The power-tester's outstanding features are that the specifications are stable, the operation is convenient, the environmental adaptability is high, especially in wide field.The laser power-tester consists of two parts: lenses of the power-tester and an electronic box of the power-tester.The lens of the power-tester is composed of a optical system of gather and filter,a photoelectrical converting circuit, a following circuit, sequence control circuit, integrating circuit, A/D converting circuit and displaying circuit. The processing circuit takes a single chip processor as a central control component, it significantly simplifies the circuit design, reduces the size and the weight and is suitable for on- line test in wide field. Project, the author is responsible for optical design of the lens, structure, electronic box circuit, software and hardware design of the laser power-tester.
