| With the more and more widely uses of the semiconductor lasers in many fields, its driver also have been paid more attentions by more people. The using of computer to control the laser's output power can raise the performance-cost (cost performance) ration of the power effectively, simplify the hardware structure of the laser power, and strengthen the automatic degree of the whole machine. It is also become easy to expand its function. The digitized control based on microcomputer can work the semiconductor laser accurately, stably and effectively. Digitization, intelligent is the inevitable developing direction of the semiconductor lasers' power.In this paper, we have developed the power supply of the semiconductor. We have utilized the HY6340 chirp as the LD driver with output current range of 0~1.5A, adopted the C8051F020 chip as digital disposal slug and replaced the analogue potentiometer of digital one. All of these improvements can reduce the hardware circuit, boost the cost performance and improve the instrument. The modulation circuit have also been designed and used to modulate LD. The modulation circuit employs the digital temperature bulb to measure temperature and semiconductor refrigerator as refrigerator element to control the temperature of LD. Simultaneously, a series of protection are employed to stabilize the output power of semiconductor lasers. A complex filter is applied to improve anti-interference of the LD and guarantee the security. The experimental results show that this power supply is with high intelligentization, strong noise proof feature, good stabilization and convenient operation. |
