With the increasing competition of the market, the quality of the product has become one of crucial factors for batch production enterprises to survive and succeed in competitions. Batch production enterprises have realized the importance to manage quality information with the computer and already actualized workshop quality management information system more or less. But how to manage the quality information accurately, how to present a platform for quality management information in integrated environment and how to avoid the repeated work in system development are problems faced to us. Therefore, the paper discusses and develops the workshop quality management information system for enterprises of batch production type in integrated environment on the basis of XAEC's information project.Firstly, the paper analyses workshop quality management factors of enterprises of Batch production type, presents the total design of the system with full consideration of the integration with other subsystems and establishes the function model and the information model of the system with IDEF modeling method.Secondly, the paper develops the system on the basis of the above design. The new system is developed on advanced mixed mode of C/S and B/S, with Delphi 6.0 and VB.net as the desktop tool in clients and Oracle 8.16 as the database management system in server. Finally, the paper discusses and analyses the result, presents the idea to improve the system. The No.32 workshop of XAEC has put into use the quality management information system and greatly increased the efficiency of quality management work.
