Remote Virtual Simulation Platform Design And Build The Research

With the development of network technology, distance learning is playing an increasingly important role in education. However, different locations of students and universities make it difficult for students to do experiments in laboratories. Therefore it's very urgent to find a way to enable students in distance learning programs to do their experiments through internet/intranet.This paper analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the design and implement of some existing internet virtual laboratory (iVLab) systems. We find that it is efficient, economical, and realizable to build the iVLab system with the Flash technique. Based on the analysis of the iVLab system and it's implementing technique, we designed the structure of the iVLab system and the course setting. Then we designed such detailed modules as the communication between the Flash client and the server, parsing and constructing of XML, building of a multi-user server, and database access. Finally we offer a case of an iVLab system and a simple manual of this system.
