The Process Industry played a very important role in national economy. Nowadays, the symbol of automation was not the automation of ground floor, but the all-round automation in the whole plant. At the same time, the concept of Distributed Control System (DCS) and FCS was also developed and extended; the solving was given and may be extended to general application in accordance with the DJTQ of Nan Shan Organic Plant (NS-DCS).Firstly, the current situation and the tendency of the Advanced Manufacturing System (AMS), DCS and FCS were analyzed. The primary design of NS-DJTQ based on the features and requirements of the plant was completed. Information integration, which is one of key technologies in NS-DJTQ, includes two meanings: One is form of information integrated; the other is procession and application of integrated information. Meanwhile, Internet/intranet-based plan of information integration was discussed in this paper.Second, the importance, theory and method of production monitoring were expounded in this paper, in which the multitask and multilevel of monitoring system was pointed out. The application of multimedia and real-time technology were developed in the production monitoring system.At last, on the basis of requirement of NS-DJTQ, the production monitoring system of NS-DJTQ was developed with LabView32 and VB in the environment of S7-300 and Windows 98. The generic methods of application in production monitoring system was discussed.
