Along with the gradual establishment and perfection of the market economic system, especially China's accession into WTO, the competition among enterprises is very fierce, and manufacturing, a mainstay of the national economy, faces new challenges. Accordingly, it is one of important problems being faced with manufacturing enterprises that how to improve their competitive abilities. In order to reach the goal, one of vital means is to synthetically make use of the technologies of information and modern management to achieve the integration and optimization of enterprise resource.This paper, based on the First Period Project of CAD/CIMS in Qingshan Indus. Ltd. Corp., does research on the theories of CIN^ MRPII and ERP, which direct the system design, and expatiates the researching significance of the MRPII system in the environment of CIMS. Combining with practice of the enterprise, this paper presents the tactic of developing the MRPII system on the high view of CIMS/ERP, and, meanwhile, the paper summarizes the exploiting steps, controlling documents and effectual instruments, which are efficaciously applicable to the life periods of large-scale soft systems.Based on the demand analysis of the system, this paper raises the integral goals, the systematic holistic structure, functional model tree of the system. Furthermore, the paper emphatically researches the design and implement of the core part of MRPII system-the sub-system of production management, advancing the key algorithms of the main production plans, material demand plans, coarse ability plans, and ability demand plans, as well as applying them to soft design. Founding the optimum model of main production plans according to fining ahead of/behind schedule, this paper uses the heuristic algorithms and human-computer interact methods to solve the model. The results of simulation studies are given, which show that the Algorithms are feasible and effective learning algorithms. The optimum model and algorithm system of main production plans of this paper provide the theoretical and practical foundation to farther optimize the MRPII systems, which have beneficial influences to solve the problems of production plan scheduling.
