A vibration signal processing software system is developed on the aero-engine testing which is based on the virtual instrument (VI) technology in the paper. The classic signal processing methods are discussed and the wavelet transform is investigated. Using these methods, a software system is developed with the tool of LabWindows/CVI and this software system is applied to the practical data analysis and processing. Current application shows that the software has integrated function and is convenience to use.All the work in this paper offered an effective software development tool to design, manufacture and test of aero-engine.
