High speed data transmission technology is one of the key technologies applied in the second generation of data relaying satellite system and other military communication systems. At the same time, it is applied widely in satellite measurement and control, the second generation of TDRSS system and corresponding industry and civilian communication system. It will become the basic technology of those domains.In accordance to the characteristics of satellite communication system, it is necessary to limit the bandwidth of the signal spectrum and to decrease the ISI. According to the Nyquist First Criterion, the usual way is to use raising cosine shaping filter in real communication system. By choosing appropriate rolling off factor and determining the distribution of its characteristics between the transmitter and the receiver, the shaping, filter will minimize the nonlinear distortion, of channel.This essay researched the design of linear phase FIR shaping filter based on field programmable gate array (FPGA). Firstly, various methods of designing digital shaping filter are compared. Secondly, the principle and the configuration of distributed algorithmic is presented. Then, the influence of parameters on shaping filter is analyzed. At last, the simulation and synthesis of FIR filter realization based on FPGA is given. |
