For high-speed real-time signal processing, massive data has to be processed and transimitted in real time. FPGA is specialized in high-speed data processing and transmission, and has become one of the main processors in radar signal processing. How to implement radar signal processing algorithm by FPGA has become a hot research topic.In the field of signal processing, filtering is absolutely necessary for eliminating noise and interference. In practical application, noise and interference are always stochastic, thus filters with constant coefficients can't meet the requirement of practical processing, which leads to the further research of adaptive filters. In this paper, based on constant coefficients filter implemented by FPGA, adaptive algorithm implemented by FPGA is researched. Then, LMS algorithm and block LMS algorithm are implemented based on FPGA.At the sane time, high speed data transmission module is introduced. How to implement high speed data transmission based on hign performance FPGA is analysed in detail. Finally, based on the development of specific radar signal processor, the implementation of radar signal processing, high-speed link-port communication and system control are implemented by FPGA. Through debug and test, the performance of the signal processor is stable and reliable.
