Mobile Agent-based Multi-layer Structure And Its Application Technology

This paper first presents the current situation and development of distributed multi-tired architecture, and it's characteristics. On the basis of the thorough discussion of distributed object technology, Web multi-tired architecture technology and mobile Agent technology, the Mobile Agent-based distributed computing model in multi-tiredarchitecture------MABDCM is given, which integrates the intelligent Mobile Agent withdistributed multi-tired architecture application system.The MABDCM is based on the four-tired Browser/Server architecture, which fully utilizes the distributed object technology and Web multi-tired architecture technology to solve the disadvantages of traditional Client/Server architecture in the aspects of extensibility and maintainability, enhancing the autonomy, dynamic and intelligence of the mobile Agent-based multi-tired architecture.Finally, paper describes the application of MABDCM in Nanjing Lukou International Airport's Management Information System (LKMIS), and the system application performance is evaluated, and the improvement is proposed as well.
