China's Media Industry Capital Operation Mode Discussed

Faced with more opening situation after entering WTO, our media industry is preparing for the challenges from foreign countries, and utilizing capital operation to strengthen themselves.However, we are still in the transitional stage between planed economy and socialism market economy. As a special and sensitive industry, the operation model of capital has itself characteristics compared with other industry.In this paper, firstly, the history of public media and its industrialization was reviewed; secondly, capital operation practice of media industry in Western countries and China was analysized, and the relationship between media industry and capital operation was demonstrated; thirdly, the present models of capital operation of media industry in China was concluded, combined with present situation in our country, its development trend was pointed out. Finally, taking the development of Shanghai and Hunan media industry for examples, the improvement of capital operation for development of media industry was confirmed.
