Contract-based Workflow Management System Design And Realization

Workflow, as a new computer technology, is recently becoming more and more important research. It is proved to have a wide application in implementing Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Business Process Automation (BPA). Workflow Management System (WfMS) is a set of software consist of definition, control and perform of workflow among which Process Modeling is the basis.The thesis firstly outlines the technologies of workflow and the related ideas and according to exploitation approaches of workflow emphases on the Workflow System Modeling, together with Modeling View of WfMS. Based on these ideas, a Document Processing Model, named as DMSWF, is proposed, which roundly deals with information process and information flow in Document Management System from the view point of definition and formalization. The model DMSWF focuses on Procedure Definition with a certain subject, Procedure Modeling based on Finite Automation and Resource Model figured as Logic Tree.Finally, linking the instance of Contract Managing System for CDIG, in which the author played a key role, the paper gave a general analysis and design on the structuring the document flow managing system based on workflow. In the end, some improvements and perspectives are mentioned.
