The development of new media causes tremendous changes in the whole human society, also in the design form and design content of visual communication design . This paper mainly studies the direction of visual communication design by discussing the characteristic of the visual communication design in new media, analyzing design content, and comparing it with traditional visual communication design.There is a closed relationship between visual communication design and media. The development of media promotes the development of visual communication design. Begins with the research of the basis of communicationę¢©he information communication theory and media, I acquire the characteristic of information, information cognizance and information communication, and the principle of evolving media form, which is coevolution, aggregation and complexity. Then analyzing the basic elements of visual communication design which are the common parts of the visual communication design in new media and traditional visual communication design, such as visual theory, font, icon, image, etc. I summarize the definition and types of new media, and expound the applied types and design flows of the visual communication design in new media, and mainly analyze the design content of the visual communication design in new media. The main point of my analysis is the different characteristic with traditional visual communication design. To a greater extent or degree, I illuminate the content of the visual communication design in new media by cases study in design practice.So we can get the direction of visual communication design in the future, which is the inheriting and renovating of tradition and the aggregation of different kinds of design. This paper will be a general reference for more detail researches in succession. |
