The rapid technical development destined the naissance of new media and provided strongsupport to its development, but new media also constantly remind visual communicationdesigning innovate continuously, endued with epoch tinge. Influenced by the new media, visualcommunication is sometimes called“new media art”. New media art is difficult to be defined inshort time, its category and the subjects it refers is often controversial, it is even not accurate forthe deep research and discussion. But this new born, fashionable vocabulary always shuttlesaround our eyes, ears and hands, force us to attach importance to it. Visual communication is aliving necessity for impartation and acceptance, the visual communication of new media is fresh,interesting and popular. We have to realize it, analyze it and excavate the best correspondingpoint and its development rules if we want to approach this visual communication and enjoy itsmaximized impartation. To better, more properly use this“new media art”, to make it morewidely serve for people and society.This article towards the most popular new media topic and connect with relevant factors ofthe specialty had learnt, and analyze it one by one, e.g. the innovation of new media and newmedia art, the reiteration to visual communication design principles, the summarization ofinfluence to visual communication design from new media and the judgment and conjecture tothis influence trend. From the details of this article, the author use the longitudinal research,including new media and visual communication changed by times and their subtle relationshipdevelopment. From the whole article, the author use transverse thinking seems to search manyclues from many aspects to accomplish the conjecture, approach step by step, finally express hisconjecture and opinion, look forward to open the door left unlocked of new media artdevelopment trend.The naissance of new media art is not occasional, and the influence to visualcommunication from new media will never terminate. The Individual media, the public media,social media have responsibility for the new media arts development. We are seeking for thedevelopment trend from the visual communication influence from new media, and we will neverbe divorced from the people and this time. Meet the demands of people, stimulate the socialdevelopment, following the steps of times is not only want new media and visual communicationhave to do, but it needs the exchanges of more subjects. The designer’s deposition of manyaspects, the deep feedback and the social ethical guiding, no one is not the factor influence new media development direction. Therefore, about the trend of visual communication influence ofthe new media, we have no time to lose in making the deep considerationIt is epoch’s requirement for the influence to this art form of visual communication andtrend development from the new media, it is also the requirement of widen the innovationthinking.
