Fast Ethernet Switch-based Network Management Technology

With the development of network technology ,Ethernet technology has been widely acceptable and become historically successful LAN technology . With the enhancement of Ethernet protocol rule degree ,some change has taken place at the aspects of network installment and configuration . At first Ethernet network is a kind of medium sharing network ,which is connected with the stations sharing whole usable network bandwidth . With the increase of users and network bandwidth requirement ,sharing network has been giving place to switching network so as for each user to gain whole bandwidth . 10/100 Mbps Switching Ethernet Network has been taking the place of existing 10 Mbps Ethernet step by step and being the leading solution scheme of desktop-linking technology .Our researching work developed a high performance Fast Ethernet Switcher with Networking Management ,which is one of the best solution schemes of FTTB ( Fiber to the Building ) in Intelligence Uptown .This Ethernet switcher can give each terminal user 1 OOMbps network bandwidth and make two multimode fiber ports bound into a logic port . And this Ethernet switcher adopted SNMP to realize Remote Network Management.This paper introduced Ethernet foundation knowledge and up-to-day Switching Fast Ethernet technology . This paper mainly introduced switcher realization scheme . And This paper traversed store-and-forward technology ,medium access control and physics sublayer technology ,which are the keys technologies of Fast Ethernet Switcher . In addition ,This paper explicated the hardware system and software system ,which supported network management of the Fast Ethernet Switcher . In the end of the paper ,Switcher High-Speed Circuit Design Techniques was introduced.
