Capp Process Resource Management Application-oriented Product Research And Development Support Tools

CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning), a major technology to achieve CIMS (Contemporary Integrated Manufacturing System), a powerful way to improve product quantity and quality and to size hold of market, is recognized to convert enterprise product design data into product manufacturing data, The traditional integrated process planning system often emphasizes on the integration of CAD/CAPP/CAM and in this process, the part is regarded as the basic research object, therefore this cannot meet the general integrated requirement of computer integrated manufacturing via process planning . For this limitation, the research and development in the course of product-oriented CAPP and process resource management system will not be constricted to the traditional computer aided process planning and will study further the general computer and information of product process planning information management according to the whole product and this will establish the foundation of the information integration of computer application system in product design, process design, product manufacturing production and management, sales and material accommodation . So as a new development thought of CAPP, product-oriented CAPP is one of the key parts of process planning in general integration and implementation of computer integrated manufacturing.On the basis of the sum-up and analysis of the development of CAPP and its present status of application home and abroad, the author is determined to make some research in this paper as follows.1. The paper studies the characteristic of product-oriented CAPP and the complexity and diversity of its development, puts forward the framework of product-oriented CAPP, sets up the relevant function model and information model of product-oriented CAPP system by analyzing and designing the product-oriented CAPP system applying the universal design and analysis method of complex system -IDEFO and IDEFlx.2. The paper studies some relevant theories and schemes to resolve system of application support tool in process resource management system of product-oriented CAPP, designs and develops process resource system.3. The paper establishes the data model and function model of process resource .For the complexity of process resource data and diversity of process resource data structure, data model and function model is set up, assimilating research fruit of present CAPP and summing up practical process resource application status in enterprise.4. The paper studies the principle of system framework and excellence and weakness of different system frameworks in process resource management system.5. The paper studies and discusses the development direction of distributed CAPP on the basis of components. In studying distributed CAPP of process resource management system, practical theory research and exploration are emphasized on the components of distributed CAPP.6. The paper studies the design and development of process card template in the human-computer interactive process design. The paper puts forward the thought and development scheme of process card template.7. Making research upon and implementing the relationship of cell case of process card and database in the module of human-computer interactive process design.8.
