Valve Manufacturing Group Technology With Distributed Capp System

As a crucial technology of Computer Integrated Manufacturing System(CIMS), Computer Aided Process Planning(CAPP) is the bridge between Computer Aided Design(CAD) and Computer Aided Manufacturing(CAM). Meanwhile, it is an important foundation for building the overall information model of manufacturing of engineering product. Manufacturing conducted by modern enterprise requires development in network, intelligence, distributing based on information sharing. It is one of the technology foundation of developing contemporary manufacturing system based on network, intelligence and information sharing, which studies the application of process planning under environment of distributed manufacturing.The dissertation bring forward distributed CAPP founding on GT on the ground of the manufacture fact of Guangdong Huaiji auto-accessories manufacturing inc. Ltd., which is suitable for the development requirements of process planning and has an important theoretical value and practical significance. The key study contents and conclusions in the dissertation are as follow:1. Studied the theory and ways about Integration of CAD/CAPP, and discussed the developing of it, chose rational integrated way base on the fact of the company.2. Presented the structure of Product Information Management System(PIMS), studied functional composition of PIMS and built network model of PIMS, and the key technique of carrying out PIMS.3. Founded managing mechanism of multi-user using database, put forward methods of process planning, construction of decision model of process, calculating of process dimension.4. Presented distributed CAPP system founding on GT, used all kind of methods of designing process and expressing knowledge in expert system in process decision-making.
