CAPP is the key technology that converts the enterprise product design data to manufacture data, is one of basic technology of advance manufacturing system. By the proposes of the product-oriented CAPP technology under integrated environment, to guarantee the validity, integrality and consistency of product process planning data and implement the process planning data sharing and CAPP integrate with other information system of CIMS, CAPP process planning data management technology should be lucubrated.Base on the analysis and summarize of the systematization, practicality, and engineering technology of CAPP, this paper discussed the key technology of process planning data management in CAPP system. It included: enterprise demand for CAPP system analysis, CAPP system scheme design, process planning data management system database design, process planning flow management, inter-aided process planning, process planning data automation collect, process planning resource database management, personnel management, process planning data management system concurrency control, interface between the YHCAPP Process Planning Data Management System and the YHCAPP Fig and File Building System and product-oriented interface between the YHCAPP system and CAD,CAM,MRP II and PDM system.In practice, the YHCAPP Process Planning Data Management System which is presented by this paper has been testified can manage process planning data effectively and improve efficiency and level of enterprise process planning, is a comparative self-contained process planning data management system and has been applied in several enterprises.
