Agricultural machinery safety supervision (AMSS) is a feature as well as a component of the developing process of Chinese agricultural motorization. It takes charge of publicizing and implementation of national policies, legislation as to the safe use of agricultural machineries, securing human life and property and ensuring good technique state of agricultural machineries. With blooming development of agricultural machinery in recent years, the sectors of AMSS at all levels are bearing heavier and heavier pressure, which results in a series of problems, such as low efficiency, dull reaction of integral potency etc. Taking advantage of computer to handle the tasks of AMSS is an effective method for the management of agricultural machinery and drivers in order to enhance management. Heretofore, the application efficiency of PC in the field of AMSS is low, as is obviously seen by the substrate AMSS sectors that take direct charge of the management of plenty of agricultural machineries and drivers. Therefore, developing specialized management software for them is a significant task that can relieve the supervising workers of the burden in AMSS, considerably improve efficiency, and eventually ameliorate AMSS services. The management system of AMSS based on VFP6.O is special software used for the management of agricultural machineries and drivers. The system is composed of input module, inquiry and modification module, statistics module and annual survey module that meet the demands of substrate AMSS sectors; at the same time, some adjuvant module including data backup, identity verification and initiation module greatly strengthens safety and universality of the system. The system strains after friendliness and laconism of the interface; abundance, accuracy and visualization of the statistics. The perfect mechanism of error handling insures the strength of the system, and the consistency and integrity of the data. The management system of AMSS based on VFP6.O is used in several districts, good effect is obtained.
