Design and results of 2M tributary unit board of "2.5G/622M/155M 5DB Transmission System" are presented in this paper. "2.5G/622M1155M 5DB Transmission System" is a key project supported by the goverment of Shenzhon. First, some knowledge of 5DB and digital synchronous are introduced briefly. Sencond, digital synchronous and mux\demux theoretical analysis is made and gives a reason that choses line interface unit chip and FPGA . Implementation of 2M tributary unit board included schecmatic design, PCB layout and router, FPGA design and simulation, and driver programme are described emphatically. Some successful application of 2M tributary unit board is achieved after single board strict functional testing and failures correction: 24 hours no bit errors of 32 ports of 2M in one TM station and 24 hours no bit errors of 96 ports of 2M in 3 ADM Stations.
