Modern Library Network Information Service Model

Internet Information Service (us) is a new subject for libraries at the digital information age. This dissertation carries out systematically researches into the development mode of modem library uS, by questionnaire inquiry method, literature-study, case-analysis method and other scientific methods.First, the dissertation theoretically discusses the conception and characteristic of 115, analyzes the high station of uS in the library work, and summarizes the obvious advantage of the library on 115 compared with other organizations. Then it finds out the deficiency of domestic libraries on uS compared with overseas library after studying the international uS status quo. The article lays stress on the study of modem library 115 mode and dissertates the operation system, service type, digital information resource construction and consumer management of 115. Finally, it discusses the benefit and evaluation of library uS.There are some innovations in this dissertation. It defines the conception of 115 for the first time, and lodges the viewpoint that 115 is coordinate with traditional information service. Regarding the service type as the base point of the study is also a new method. The new mode of uS lodged in this dissertation gives prominence to practicability and feasibility and it shall provide important reference to the development of115.The main purpose of this dissertation is not to provide reference, but to make people attach more importance to the study and practice of library uS in order to expedite the development of us.
