An Analysis Of The News Frame Of "Square Dance Nuisance Events"

Our country is in a critical period of social development and a crucial period of reform,which is full of social contradictions and problems. At this stage,the aging problem comes into people’s view. From the year of 2013 to 2014, the issue of "Square Dance"on Pepeole became the common concern of the national community. With the background of dramatically social changing, intensified social contradictions and prominent population aging, it is significant for the press to consider and probe the issue of "Square Dance"on Pepeole, particularly the involved elderly social group.Therefore, the report of the issue of "Square Dance"on Pepeole was analyzed with Media Framework Analysis Theory and categorized into five type of framework, namely the framework of imputing the square dancing elderly, imputing the anti-square dancing, dialogue and compromise, imputing administrative office and the other related accountability. From the view of five type of framework, we can conclude the framework building reasons and influences by the press media. Meantime, the purpose of this essay is to reveal problems among the reports of Square Dancing Nuisance and attempt to generalized media reporting method against the background of population aging.
