Research And Analysis Of Fingerprint Attendance System In Colleges And Universities

By the recruiting of new students, the scales of post-secondary universities and the complexities of student management organizations are increasing. Young students are more various and independent with the development of the culture market of China. The classic student management methods are no longer suitable for the new requirements of post-secondary universities. Looking for a new advanced and efficient method to replace the current old-school ways becomes increasingly important. In this article, a figure print based authentication system is proposed. This system greatly simplified the authentication process that makes it more efficient to both users and system administrators.This paper discussed the background and development of figure print recognition technology. It focuses on the analysis of operation, function, data and model the system visually with UML in figure print based attendance check of post-secondary education institution.Operation analysis compares and analyzes the original operation and reconstructe d version. System functions are analyzed with system use-case diagram and function package diagram in section function analysis.The final part of this paper concludes the discussion and planned the roadmap for future works.
