Research And Analysis On Inventory Management System Of Zhoushan Power Supply Company

Inventory management is one of the key components of materials management, which plays the critical role of mastering the real-time dynamic of inventory and improving the efficiency of the logistics system, etc. However, inventory management system used today is lack of contact with items, as well as communication among business, and exists lots of differences in accountings. Therefore a new inventory management information system needs to be establish to improve it.This paper first introduces the research background of inventory management system and its domestic and abroad research progresses as well as the problems faced in the inventory management of the company of Zhoushan power supply. Meanwhile the significance and importance of the project are described in details. This paper first introduces the original business process of inventory system and makes an improvement. Through increasing management of materials for the project, working performances obtain effective progress. Meanwhile the function module is divided in8function submodules, containing material information, entering-warehouse management, out-of-warehouse management, inventory information management system, inventory verification, returning-warehouse management, analytic statistics system and System maintenance and analyzed by use case diagram, package diagram, class diagram and thumbnail diagram. In addition, the related data is analyzed to design a database. Finally research paper summarizes the contents of research, and points out the shortcomings and further work.
