| As a significant cultural carrier, minority archives are getting more and more attention in these days. And Yunnan province, which with the largest amount of ethnic minorities, is holding plenty of ethnic history archives. But due to various reasons, a great deal of minority archives are stranded on folk, some of them even flowed to overseas. This article is tended to find out how to collect these precious ethnic archival in research. We will gather comprehensive archives at all levels in Yunnan province, not merely because they can reflect the country’s emphasis on minority historical archives, but also they represents the collection of the most advanced technology.The author of this article has made an inspection trip to dehong prefecture of Yunnan province in February2014. Based on extensive field research in county comprehensive archives, libraries and museums which in lum, lianghe county, ruili, yingjiang, we have obtained the first-hand information of the ethnic minorities collection in Yunnan province. At the same time, in this thesis, according to analyzing on the ethnic archival paper on the related research, we found that there are problems existing in the process of ethnic archives’ collection at all levels of national comprehensive archives in yunnan province.Finally, we make recommendations for macro policy safeguard and collection strategy. The macro policy mainly include:first, to strengthen propaganda and education work, we must set up the ethnic archival management consciousness; second, more investment and soliciting funds are expecting to put into, and donations are well encouraged; third, making the use of purchase way to acquire original documents, etc. The collection of the specific measures include:on the one hand, taking full advantage of modern technology on rubbing, printing and photocopying in the work of gathering; on the other hand, carrying out other units bulk concentration of original documents collection relying on the policies and regulations. |
