IT equipment procurement in GJT (Getrag (Jiangxi) transmission Co. Ltd.) is a complicated work covering a series of processes such as appropriation budget, plan formulation, market research, bid&tender, contract signing, equipment acceptance, consuming register, asset entry etc., during which all departments involved (application dept, Purchase, IT, Finance etc.) need to collect&handle large amount s of data to timely grasp equipment purchasing status. However, the traditional discrete data processing mode fails to meet the current requirement fully making the above work difficult to be implemented, and procurement process becomes uncontrollable thus bringing down the work efficiency for company’s IT equipment procurement.With an aim to improve work efficiency and reduce purchasing data processing difficulty, GJT IT equipment procurement system was born at the right moment. A clear IT equipment procurement management mode arises by analysis of GJT IT procurement business process, and then periodic division is implemented on this mode via modular design ideat.3、Analysis on system function and functional data flow with diagram of entity class, functional block diagram. Establishment of IT equipment procurement management system database incorporating info. of application dept., IT equipment, department procurement plan, IT equipment application/acceptance/consuming, changing or refunding, budget adjustment application and consuming notification etc.
