This thesis based on the specific condition of Luo Jiazhai High Sulfur Gas Plant which is invested by Chevron from American and the modern automatic control demand, taking the cooling water tank water pipe network pressure as controlled object after treatment, utilizing modern computer control and sensor theory, inspection technology, network communication technology, motor science and basic theory of closed loop control, designing systematic frequency conversion pressure consistency control software&hardware system based on Honeywell EPKS(Experion PKS), realizing DCS(Distributed Control System) control frequency control of motor speed, pressure consistency of cooling water pipe network, summarize frequency conversion, pressure consistency, water supply controlled by DCS system basic theory and basic method, which is commonly practicable.Honeywell EPKS frequency conversion, pressure consistency, water supply design consists of DCS systematic software&hardware and motor design. This thesis fully studies hardware function and software configuration character of Honeywell DCS system and ABB frequency conversion performance, systematically summarize and analyze asynchronous motor speed control theory and method. Based on PID control theory and calculation method, it specifically states frequency conversion, pressure consistency, water supply PID adjustment process from pressure consistency operation, pipe network pressure decreasing and increasing. Combing process operation condition, it calculates frequency convertor volume, designs frequency conversion, pressure consistency, water supply E&I equipment, DCS system hardware and frequency conversion, pressure consistency, water supply electrical schematic diagram, establishes configuration strategy of dada collection loop, control loop, PID adjustment loop, systematically demonstrate the design theory.The last part of the thesis specifically summarizes instrument monomer test, loop check, system test and system commissioning instruction, which fully proves the accuracy of hardware chosen and software combination of Honeywell EPKS frequency control of motor speed constant pressure water supply system upon test. This design and test procedure provide the reliable technology support documentation for the test and operation of42frequency conversion motor in this plant, and establishes systematic design documentation and test method for other similar project.
