Together with rapid development of the science and technology,the automation of the enterprises also rapidly moving up and the investment on the high-tech increases by leaps and bounds.In the recent ten years,the DCS system,one of the important representations of the automation utilization of modern enterprises has been widely used in the big enterprises in our country,especially in their flow operation.And the utilization of the DCS system enhances the procession and steadiness of controlling and optimizes the technology which makes the management of the enterprise reach a new level and promote the growth of the technology in all trades.The pulp producing and paper making industry is a typical flow-operation industry and the utilization of the DCS system is obviously important to this industry.The subject in this thesis is originated from the second phase of an extension program of million ton sulfate pulp bleaching-line.And the DCS system is used in the water treatment section of the program.This thesis studies the utilization of the DCS system in the pulp producing and paper making industry based on the water supply in the water treatment sector. And to implement the automatic control and supervision of the water supply treatment with the EPKS system of the HONEYWELL Automation Company.Mainly based on the EPKS system of the HONEYWELL Automation Company,the subject of this thesis analyzes the main control parameters of the automatic control in the water supply treatment and studies its controlling process after fully acquired the water supply technology in the pulp producing and paper making industry.And together with these studies,this thesis realizes the automatic control of water supply treatme by by programming with the EPKS system of the HONEYWELL Automation Company,and makes online running adjustment on the main controlling parameters to achieve the best effect of controlling.The framework of this thesis is list below:The first chapter,introduction of the concept,characteristic,domestic and foreign development,utilizing situation and the future developing trends of the DCS control system;the original and significance of this subject and main task of this thesis.The second chapter,introduction of programming tool in this thesis,that is,the Honeywell EPKS system,and including its hardware;structure;the configuration and function of its controlling strategy,server;HMIWeb Display Builder;Enterprise Model Builder;PHD system and its utilization;Distributed System Architecture.The third chapter introduces the technology of water supply treatment system,including sterilization;oxidation;flocculation;flotation and filtration.The fourth chapter,this chapter is the theme part of this thesis,and the task of this chapter is programming with the Honeywell EPKS system to realize the automatic control of the water supply treatment and do the running adjustment.This chapter also discusses about the main facilities for water treatment system;the program and the utilization of the typical circuit PID and its running adjustment result.The fifth chapter,summarizes on the whole thesis,and makes an outlook on the research of the utilization of the DCS system in the pulp producing and paper making industry.
