Research On The Layout Reform Of Shaanxi Daily Since The New Century

Cheng Manli, the president of the Chinese Association for History of Journalism and Mass Communication, also a professor of Peking University ever divided the90years of our party into three30-years:the first30-years is from1921to1949, the second30-years is from1949to1978, and the third30-years is from1978to today. Made the new century as the timeline, she again divided the third30-years into two phases. After entering the new century, the media environment has undergone enormous changes. With the rapid development of network and information technology, the influence of new media becomes bigger and bigger, what’s more, and the degree of internationalization of the media have become higher and higher. People all around the world can use Facebook, Twitter, MircoBlog, WeChat, QQ and other network platform or network tools to transmit information or communicate with others.For the impact of new media, traditional media have to embark on the path of transformation and reform. Under the influence of the new media environment and driven by the reform of People’s Daily, Shaanxi Daily made many attempts during the years after entering the new century. Shaanxi Daily established the Media Group in2012and made the newspaper could link to videos through the two-dimensional code in2013.This paper attempts to elaborate the background and history of our party briefly, then focus on the combing analysis of Shaanxi Daily’s layout and reform measures since the new century. Besides, choose some typical cases from other party newspapers compare with Shaanxi Daily, trying to find out the inadequate of Shaanxi Daily’s layout and propose the solutions for the shortcomings.
