Disaster news reporting is the reported by media when disasters occurred. Through the research from the reporting strategy, presentation of special coverage and integration with network media aspects on the editorial way of MH370 event reporting from 9th of March to 16th April of last year of Beijing News, strategy of reporting, presentation of layout and integration with network media. This article would concentrate on the exploration and improvement to find the intrinsic editorial rule, the shortages exist which also are the problems in other Chinese newspapers by comparing with western newspapers. And thereby get the suggestion for solution, hoping to make some contribution to the development and revolution on the future of newspaper disaster special reporting of our country.After the research on the topic, Beijing News appears to have the special coverage plan, edit control and media integration in the aspect of reporting strategy in disaster special coverage reporting. Besides, it shows the layout from different ways like the logo, pictures, diagram and color.In the field of layout, the content of reporting and media integration, however, Beijing News still have certain number of shortages. The result of this research indicates that disaster special coverage reporting in our country can use Beijing News for reference from the points below. The innovation of the editors’ idea, achievement of abundant forms of layout and integration of different information to improve the function of guard of newspapers should be concentrated on. Additionally, newspapers should develop their advantages to improve the quantity and strength, make integration of media resources in order to cooperate with the special coverage. Last but not least, all type of newspapers should manifest the humanistic care, and be careful with sensationalism.
