This twenty years since the1990s, China’s newspaper market is developing rapidly, the dramatic change of the pattern of newspaper market for20years. In the face of fierce market competition, brand molding and competition has become an important connotation, constitute the core competitiveness of newspapers has become an important means to newspaper competition, become a newspaper the survival and development on the market, as the opponent in the internationalization and globalization of media competition. Therefore, the brand strategy has become an inevitable trend of the development of the newspaper, newspaper competition is no longer stay on the pure competition stage of reporters, but a comprehensive newspaper brand competition from the strategic high ground. Interpretation based on the analysis of the domestic and international research status on brand construction, the main research focus in all or a single newspaper, rarely will a comparative study of two similar newspapers.
