Textbooks is the most important carriers of primary and secondary education, spreading the ideology of the State or Government as a huge role.At the same time,textbook publishing is a pillar industry of the publishing industry.This article expounds the changes of textbook publishing before1949, and discuss the textbook publishing after the founding of the PRC on such a basis.Not only it could form a deep-going understanding of the historical development of a coherent, but also reflect the textbooks published better after the founding of a number of issues in contrast to each other. Secondly, efforts will be made In this article to explore the changes in textbook publishing profiles, which would make history more fullness and true.External policies, institutions together with publishing variety constitute the fundamental elements of the system forming. In addition to the discussesion about the textbook changes, this paper intend to study the impact of textbook changes by the combination of textbooks, which in association with the thinking of the moment, the formation of the reality care.This paper includes the introduction and five other chaptersThe first chapter represents the the initial development period of Shanghai area textbooks published from1920to July1937.The second chapter analyses the textbook publication from July1937to October1949, among the outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War in July1937and the founding of new China.Chapter Ⅲ will be the research on the development of textbooks during the transitional period of New China from1986to the beginning of the founding the. After the founding of new China, the publication of textbooks into a new era in1986, and the Shanghai area began to re-show the characteristics of their own by curriculum reform.In fourth chapter, the Shanghai area became the pilot area during the1986-2010period. This chapter explores the impact of the twice curriculum reforms on the publication of textbooks in ShanghaiChapter Ⅴ, on the basis of the previous section,study the following aspects:of the change of the textbook form, the transition of textbook content and textbook system variance. Accordingly,The article is a preliminary restore and construct the context of school textbooks published in Shanghai in modern times.
