With the support of information technology, MicroBlog, which has a innovative mechanism in shaping and spreading network information, has quickly swept the world through the Internet platform. As a product of the information age and because of its fast speed, vast content and audiences, as well as convenience of participating, MicroBlog has indisputably become the power of the network which cannot be neglected.The emergence of MicroBlog is part of the information revolution. From this stage, the information processing subject begins the transition from group to individual. Prior to this, the dissemination of information was through the mainstream media. After MicroBlog appeared, the state of closed and one-way acceptance of information has completely changed into a two-way and fixed mode; breaking directly the obstruction in general audience’s participating in the dissemination of information. Characteristic of communicating information is sufficient to enable MicroBlog to become an important influential force in society, but it has also produced some negative effects while promoting the mediocre spreading of information.MicroBlog has accelerated the information transmission and reduced the barriers to participation; it accelerated the spread of the news content and expanded the news audience; it has acquired trust that is superior to the traditional information dissemination platform and media and reduced the costs of news participation; it has increased the difficulty in the accountability of false and forged information and catalyzed the harmful consequence of undesirable information. Is the Information civilization to progress, the positive value of MicroBlog technology must be carried forward and at the same time the negative value avoided, which is a result of natural selection. We should not take the attitude of avoiding toward some of the negative values, but to seize the aspects which are advantageous to the progress of human civilization. And we should see through the appearance to the essence so as to dispel the negative values of MicroBlog technology.Reflecting on the values of MicroBlog technology, guiding it to achieve positive values, amplifying its positive energy, dispelling its negative values and inhibiting negative energy is a new subject at present to promote the healthy development of MicroBlog technology. Although at present there are many scholars in the realm of MicroBlog technology research, most of the contents of research only involve the realms of communication, marketing,nagement and education, etc. and little research concentrate on the philosophical reflection of the value of MicroBlog technology. This paper attempts to make explorations in this aspect, to construct the value system, and puts forward the ways of value realization; and the practical significance in the research of the value of MicroBlog technology.
