Gprs In The Led Display On The System

This subject mainly bases on the GPRS wireless business of China Mobile Co.Ltd. Taking use of the strong functions of short messages send (SMS mode) and wireless to surf the Internet (GPRS mode), and so on, realize wireless communication by GPRS module.In the paper, GPRS module and others experiment equipments are provided by Shanghai Zhida Electronic Company. The product of company is Led display screen, in the experiment, GPRS module is embedded in the Led display system of Zhida, so Led display system can communicate in the wireless mode. Wireless information is delivered in two mode : One is SMS and the other is GPRS.The paper is divided into six chapters. Chapter One introduces why to choose the wireless communication and why to select GPRS from all kinds of wireless communication. Chapter Two generally introduces GPRS (general packet radio service) . Chapter Three summarizes the SMS function of GPRS module and discusses how to test SMS function. Chapter Four states how to test SMS function and complete Led display system delivering information by SMS function of GPRS. Chapter Five focuses on how to deliver data in wireless mode that bases on the Internet, specially, why to use UDP protocol. Chapter Six tests wireless information delivering function of GPRS module, which bases on Internet. By the conclusion of test, edit assembler procedures of wireless communication of GPRS, and provide the method that how to get the address of server and how to start and hang up the link between GPRS and Internet.The main aim of project is application of GPRS wireless communication on Led display system, and realize the remote control to GPRS. Basing on the kinds of tests and experimentations, prove that the application of GPRS on Led display system is feasible.
