This thesis studies how to use AutoCAD graphic database to manage the design data of metro in combining to CAD of metro plane and vertical section and then based on the result of it also studies how to design the plane,veritcal section more easily and efficiently by the way of human-computer interaction.The chief research contents and achievements are summarized as follows:(1)Proposing a new method to manage design data based on AutoCAD graphic database itself.The design data can be got and saved in the AutoCAD graphic database through custom objects and is not necessary to save the design data an external file or an external database.(2)Graph driving data through notice-reactor technology.When a design entity is modified,the reactor an find its type automatically and update its data in custom object.So it can insure the consistency between data and graphic.(3)Proposing a new plane design method based on unit.This method treats the plane central line as a series of line units which are connected in order.A method for creating line unit is proposed and then an algorithm for linking line units automatically is developed.(4)A way is found for inputting the left line data based on the right line.The left line can be designed quickly with the inputting method and the plane design method.(5)The data input and design of station.The station is located according to its projection mileage on the right line and its order can be found automatically in the existing stations so the station can be inserted.The information of the stations can be inputted and modified through a dialog box.(6)Auxiliary line design method based on template.Some templates are made for ordinary auxiliary lines and several selectable items are given on every template for flexibility.The data of auxiliary lines are inputted through dialog box.It can make the design process more rapidly and in intuitively.(7)Method of plane and profile design based on custom entity technology.The plane central line,station auxiliary line and profile line are drawn as custom entities.And the entities can be easily modified dynamically and interactively by defining pinch points and deriving the corresponding AcEdJig classes.
