Printed circuit board (PCB) is an important component of many mechanical and electronic products, its quality directly affects the overall performance of mechanical and electrical products, so how to improve the quality of PCB, and how to reduce its reject rate is one of urgent problems to be solved in every PCB manufacturer. For now, the quality of PCB is mainly detected after electroplating, so this method not only needs expensive test equipment, but also can not improve the quality of PCB from the source. With the development of wireless communication network technology and sensor technology, the intelligent monitor used in process of PCB electroplating becomes a reality. This thesis is a research on PCB electroplating current monitoring system based on wireless sensor network.Through analyzing the present situation of wireless sensor networks at home and abroad, PCB electroplating current monitoring system based on wireless sensor network is designed. The system uses Nordic VLSI's NRF9E5 processor as center, ZigBee protocol for wireless communication, and latest application of wireless sensor network technology as basis. The system has characteristics of low power, low cost, and simple operation, and it is used in process of PCB electroplating, which can greatly enhance the quality of PCB and reduce its reject rate.In this thesis, the hardware design of the system is analyzed in detail, including power modules, clock, reset, memory modules, sound and light alarm circuit, and so on; microcontroller program and PC program is respectively designed by using Asm51 build software and Visual C++6.0. The system implements many functions such as data collection, data wireless transmission, serial communication, and data display, storage and management. Finally, the hardware and software of entire system is debugged. The result of debugging indicates that the system designed achieves the intended effect.
