In the ferroalloy production processes, the automation of assistant materials batching system is becoming increasingly important. But the majority of our ferroalloy production enterprises batching system is still manual or semi-automatic operation, its control system include relays and other electrical equipment, contain the low level of automation,batching accuracy, include the high level of failure rate, compared with foreign advanced level, there is a larger gap. Now most ferroalloy business use a constant speed weighing way, this batching way with low precision and low speed, which seriously affect the quality of ferroalloy production. A fraction of enterprises use one variable speed weighing way, but it can not solve the issue of materials gap, system accuracy is difficult to ulteriorly improve.The batching system uses two variable speed weighing way, this batching way have high accuracy,and high speed and so on. The batching way solve the materials gap problem, greatly improve the accuracy of the batching system. The paper analyzes the impact of measurement error of assistant materials batching system and put forward the method of error elimination. For improving the quality of ferroalloy production has a crucial importance.The system uses the host computer combine with PLC controller achieve centralized monitoring process. The paper established mathematical model of the feeding speed, feeding speed uses digital PID controller to accomplish closed loop control. Apply Simulink simulation software to simulate the system, the results can be seen that the design of control system in the regulation of time after 2s speed steady-state error is O.Using King View as the host computer monitoring software to develop system. According to actual needs and circumstances at the main screen is designed the main screen of ingredient, the main screen of production, Real-time monitoring screen and so on. Screen designed beautifully, easy to operate, the operator can promptly and effectively monitor the process on the auxiliary ingredient.Each assistant materials has a fixed storage. Because man-made cause and uncertain causes, the assistant materials can not be transported to the corresponding storage. This often seriously affect ferroalloy production quality of products, cause huge economic losses. Ferroalloy enterprises at home and abroad, however, few have Testing System of detect a mistake for assistant materials, therefore, it is necessary to study the wrong material accessories plus detection methods to ensure product quality ferroalloys. In the paper, make use of the four kinds of assistant materials of low carbon ferrochromium production required as the researchful stylebook object, according the four kinds of assistant materials have different colors and size characteristics,use image recognition method to complete the discriminant of the four kinds of assistant materials.The paper describes the key technologies of the image pre-processing and image recognition algorithm,the method have practical significance to detect a mistake for assistant materials of low-carbon ferromanganese and other ferroalloy required.
