Three-dimensional Police Information System Design And Realization

Along with the development at full speed of computer technology and data-obtaining technology, the growth of three-dimensional GIS (Generalized Information System) has drawn great attention. Fueled by the need of 3D information and flourishing of new sciences, the 3D GIS has achieved steady development. Moreover, the platform has complete 3D model of own district and other important functions. We can apply it to deploy and deduce preplan, GPS command and control, three-dimensional govern key sites, intelligent central control of vehicle and integrate 3D Visualization Management System. Through these systems'appliance, we can improve the efficiency of daily work, strengthen the appliance of original MIS system and satisfy the need of practical operation. Specifically, the 3D GIS system can offer following reliable service.Firstly, the construction of 3D Public Security Geographical Information Platform provides map service of original MIS system for each department. Such as Network Manger System, key units manger system and so on. By address match and data comparison, we can get all kinds of public security data shown in figure.Secondly, as a carrier of different information, 3D Public Security Geographical Information Platform can express population distribution, case and crossing covered state line vividly. Also we can analyze all information and make decision.Thirdly, as a platform, 3D Public Security Geographical Information system can give an alarm by mobile phone, fixed telephone or fixed sites. Apart from that, there is GPS system, digital video monitoring system and other systems. All of the systems help to make assistant decision.
