| With the development of modern warfare needs and continuous progress of the detecting means, the amount of factors which influence battlefield decision and situation development has increased rapidly, information have expanded sharply, the category, topology and correlativity of information are getting more and more complex. How to use the existing information to improve the understanding of the battlefield situation and the level of decision-making has become the first problem for all militaries overseas and domestic.The digital earth technology bases on DEM and DOM (the globe virtual battlefield environment technology) has developed enormously in recent years. It has applied in many military domains. The main purpose of this thesis is to construct a multidimensional, appreciable, measurable and realistic battlefield environment on digital earth, which includes weather information, electromagnetism information and much other information, through the technology of information visualization and integration, it can offer soldiers war field apperception and decision-making services.The main contributions are:1. The technology to divide up, store and schedule mass data is studied and a correlation algorithm is proposed. A space dividing arithmetic on digital earth is raised. Base on the data querying characteristic on cosmically scene, a hierarchical data store method is proposed, and depending on that, a view-based data pre-scheduling arithmetic is designed and implemented.2. The technology of accelerated rendering of large-scale scenes is studied. Considering the earth curvature, from the occlusion culling and visible objects simplification aspects, visibility omission arithmetic on different eyes points and a LOD data querying arithmetic base on bound box detecting and vertex disrupting are brought forward.3. The integrate method and relationship of all kinds of battlefield information are researched. In accord with the data peculiarity and correlativity of different battlefield information, an integrated framework of battlefield information system base on information integration drive is proposed. Scene layers on digital earth are defined. And an integrated method base on multilayer scenes is brought forward.4. A system which integrates battlefield information on the digital earth is designed and tested. Results show that the system performs very well in integration and presentation of a variety of battlefield information on the digital earth platform, and runs stably and efficiently. |
