Gsm Network Optimization Techniques

The core network KPI data,system parameter is one of the GSM network optimization analysis key domain of network optimization.Optimization engineers will deal with core network database,system parameter performance data to analysis fistly. In order to improve network performance synthetically they analyse the performance and modify parameters in core network database by modify system parameter, handover para,balance the traffic.In this thesis mainly discusses the analytic methods, such as modify system parameter,the interface between the NE, upgrade the customer feeling,handover control. Furthermore it is concluded how to build the physical model of network optimization and AA-TOOLS. Basing on above analysises and conclusions ,the writer finished the GSM optimization work for CMCC,JiangSu. The performance of this network was improved very much when core parameters were analyzed and modified carefully .The methods introduced in this thesis are very effective to optimazation engineering on GSM networks of China mobile .
