Planning And Design On The Soft-Switch Core-Network For The Anhui-Huainan Branch Of China Unicom

Nowadys, the mode of 2G/3G co core-network has been spread in China Unicom mobile network in Huainan Anhui province, the MGW device of which was the Ericsson BC3002 soft-switch. The network structure was more reasonable, besides the requirements of 2G voice service and the PS domain service for GSM users, this kind of network could also meet the needs of the 3G voice service, the access and bearing of 3G PS domain multimedia service for WCDMA users.Considering the present situation of our mobile communication market, the 2G and 3G networks would be coexistent in quite a period. In order to further optimize the core-network to meet the development need of the market service, ensure the stability and reliability of the core-network, fast lift the user apperception and the enterprise image and improve the technical level of the China Unicom mobile core-network in Huainan in short time, some plans on the MGW networking mode, the configuration of voice and signaling have been carried out for the future construction in this paper, which were based on the current state of the China Unicom mobile core-network in Huainan.
