The Research Of Core Network Optimization Base On Soft-switch

Soft-switch network is the development of next-generation communications networks.Currently the major operators dedicate to intelligent transformation of communication network. The soft-switch network will be large-scale applied in the telecommunication network. As the soft-switching network is a multi-professional, multi-device, multi-protocol open network, how to optimize the efficiency of soft-switching network and application performance is a good value of research topics. Soft-switch network optimization is becoming a major concern work of the operators.This topic comes from one of the mobile soft-switch network projects of China Mobile Communication Company. The author participate the whole process of the soft-switching equipment optimization in the BaoDing area. First, it gives a comparative analysis of Soft switching disaster recovery strategy after introduced the soft-switch network architecture, related principles, network devices, protocols and functions. And it tests the disaster recovery process of Iu-Flex-based soft-switch network, gives a test result. From the analysis of the test result, it gives a suggestion to the area soft-switch disaster recovery strategy.Next, this thesis analyzes an actual situation of soft-switch network in BaoDing area. It gives a reference of soft-switch network optimization in a number of applications from realities. First, it specify the main purposes of the optimization:to improve various performance indicators of soft-switching equipment, and continuously improve the system's security performance and emergency communications support capabilities, balance the allocation of resources to maximize improve network resource utilization, regulate the route data of the large local soft-switching network, and prepare for the switching network element maintenance across the province. From the route optimization, network resource optimization, network security, and several other areas, check the status existing network, data collection and analysis, developed a network optimization program and begin to implement the program.After the optimization, it makes an objective assessment of the optimization effect by comparing the situation improvement before and after optimization of the network transport indicators, resource utilization, network security, routing data. It finds that the soft-switching operation has been improved significantly, the routing congestion problem alleviated, the routing structure is more clear and reasonable, the network utilization and transport indicators have been improved. The result of this paper is mobile communication soft-switch network optimization, such as network daily operation and maintenance, network planning and implementation. It has a significance guidance and reference value.
