Dss Research, Based On Data Mining Technology, Flight Delays

With the development of society, constantly opening more routes, and growing air traffic, flight delays become a major problem in civil aviation. The ripple effect caused by the delay, but also become the focus of civil aviation. The Civil Aviation in major information systems currently accumulated a lot of historical operating data, but many remain in traditional relational database approach to the statistical reports, etc., only for data query, statistical and other functions. Its hidden in the data in the knowledge and rules are extracted effectively, provide a reference for the ATC decision-making and support.Since 2004, CAA of the flight delay as an important aviation safety management elements, through the enactment of documents, clearly the normal and airline flight linked to other initiatives. Its purpose is to effectively reduce their own causes by airline flight delays, particularly plans to causes flight delays, and the average effort to reduce flight delays and enhance flight operation quality.At domestic, on data mining, data warehouse technology in aviation research and application mainly for airline customer relationship management system to expand. Based on data mining, data warehouse technology for civil aviation decision support system for weak, particularly conducive to flights operating data on the problem of delayed flights in the decision support system for less.This thesis by introducing the data warehouse and data mining techniques to study the intelligent decision support system that modern management information system technology.Based on the requirements analysis, functional analysis and analysis of data resources for flight delays,this theis design a flight delay IDSS system. Futhermore, it takes two datamining models for example to present the application of data mining module in IDSS.The results of this study is hope to give references and supports for the decision-making of flight delay management, and to provide more useful help for theoretical research in this area and the upgrades and improvements of the system in the future.
