| Faceing to the middle school reform of our country ,retrospect the development process of middle school environmental education ,the concept of school environmental education has not been improved to the category of"education for the environment".there are some problems in the environment education. According to the particular requirements of the new geographic teaching outlines and new textbook of middle school, the author develops the research of environmental education approach and practice of geographic subject in the middle school improves the effect of the school environmental education.This article combines the characteristics of geography teaching and cognitive development of students.The main content of the thesis are:First, it expounds the superiorities,significance,contents about environmental education which is penetrated in geography teaching.Second,it analysis to the point some efficient approaches used inside and outside geography class on penetrating environmental education;banding geography new curricula and environmental education tightly together,stresses on analyzing the contents of environmental education in the geographical teaching materials in school:adopting methods like inquiry learning,environmental cases etc in order to increase the actual effects about environmental education .Meanwhile we aim at environmental status in school neighboring areas, develop a series of activities in and out of school combining"environment memorial day"and so on. Third, using the relevant theories that have been learnt, probe into the methods of implementing the environmental education in geography teaching of middle school. It has proposed, combined with the requirements established in the junior middle school course—book standards, three learning methods, such as question—centered inquiry learning method, case—centered inquiry learning method and interactive—cooperative inquiry learning method; and has elaborated on concrete operational strategies and steps connected with these three models as have been supported by related cases in teaching practice. The necessity and feasibility of promoting inquiry learning in the process of environmental education in the geography in middle school, the students have experience for themselves, gainin more knowledge ,improve their skills and raise the awareness of environment protection.The above teaching practices illuminate that in middle schools putting environmental education into practice in geography teaching has its particular advantages .Geography teachers should not only be good at excavating fodders about environmental education in teaching materials, but also recruit the environmental hot spots in time into teaching .We should tackle the two main position: in and out of class, reform teaching methods and set up more situations and opportunities, so that the student can feel ,experience and inner convert in the give atmosphere. Also we shoud continuously improve our own environmental attainments. |
