This article is established in the views of scientific evolution, continuance evolution theory, environmental science and education science theories and so on, combining the characteristics of geography teaching in high schools and some disciplinarians that high school students develop their perception . Different methods such as literature analysis, survey questionnaire, practice investigation are adopted, probing emphatically into the contents, approaches and methods how environmental education is carried into execution in geography teaching in high schools. It briefly introduces the history, connotation, theory elements and general situations of evolution in environmental education; expounds the superiorities , significance, objective, principles and contents about environmental education which is penetrated in geography teaching; analysis to the point some efficient approaches used inside and outside geography class on penetrating environmental education: banding geography new curricula and environmental education tightly together, stresses on analyzing the contents of environmental education in the geographical teaching materials in junior schools: adopting methods like disquisition learning , roll plays, environmental cases etc in order to increase the actual effects about environmental education. Meanwhile, we aim at environmental status in school neighboring areas, develop a series of activities in and out of our school combining "environment memorial day" and so on. Thus the students have experience for themselves, gain in more knowledge, improve their skills and deepen their consciousness of protecting environment.The above teaching practices illuminate that in high schools putting environmental education into practice in geography teaching has its particular advantages .Geography teachers should not only be good at excavating fodders about environmental education in teaching materials, but also recruit the environmental hotspots in time into teaching. We should tackle the two main positions :in and out of class, reform teaching methods and set up more situations and opportunities, so that the students can feel, experience and inner convert in the given atmosphere. Also we should continuously improve our own environmental attainments.
