A new round of curriculum reform in mathematics teaching philosophy, teaching content, teaching methods and evaluation forms have changed, especially in the content of the course structure and requirements. With time passing by,the teaching content makes the strongest efforts to reflect the development, reflecting the disciplines of mathematics and its application. It contains modern mathematical thinking.Changes in the teaching content are an important aspect of the curriculum reform. In the implementation of curriculum, the teachers' adaptability to the changes is directly related to the success or failure of curriculum reform. And rural areas to the implement of the new curriculum are the main position, and the rural teachers' adaptability of these changes is even more worthy of our attention.Based on this, this article takes the high school mathematics curriculum reform and changes in the content as the breakthrough point. And this article takes 62 high school mathematics teachers who are from Yanqing and Shunyi District for the study.By doing questionnaires, interviews and classroom observation, this paper diagnoses the teachers' adaptability to the changes in the high school new math curriculum. The results are as follows:Conclusively, facing the new curriculum, the overall adaptability of rural teachers is not high enough, and with the growth of seniority, teachers' adaptability of the new curriculum decreases.Ordinary school teachers have better adaptability than that of the key schools'. The key School teachers' standard deviation of scores is higher, and that is a serious scoring polarization.Grade Two math teachers' adaptation is higher than that of Grade One teachers'.in terms of professionalism, the teachers in rural schools still have some problems: 1.rural teachers do not have enough knowledge reserves to the newly added teaching content. To the very kind of knowledge such as the algorithm, many teachers do not have any contact with it previously or they just heard about it in the computer class. It is necessary to teach students the knowledge. If the teachers just learn the knowledge in a certain period of time ahead of the students. What help can they bring to the students? The result is clear.2.On the new curriculum, rural teachers do not have high adaptability on the basic structure of the teaching content or the required changing content. The reason is that they do not master the "standard" very well,or that they do not really understand the intent of the new curriculum. In terms of the findings, this paper presents a number of strategies and recommendations. |
